The Truth About Tap Water…

…is that, in the USA, it is more often than not, harmful because most of the time it is laced with fluoride. Fluoride is a toxic industrial waste. As one commenter noted, the US public has been made to believe that fluoride is good…well I wanted to put some more resources here for us all to get re-educated (photos & citations)

The Fluoride Deception This is a very illuminating video. (30 min)

From the map we can see that Hawaii, Oregon, Utah, Montana and perhaps New Jersey are the only states where less than 25% of the tap water is fluoridated.. Fluoride is poison and is NOT healthy for human consumption. More than not healthy, fluoride is harmful!

The most convenient and immediate way to provide pure water for you and your household to consume is to treat your tap water with distillation or reverse osmosis. Osmosis is the movement of water across a membrane. Water naturally moves from the area of high solute concentration to the area of low solute concentration. So, for example in a container partitioned by a semi-permeable (only permeable to water) membrane into two parts, with salty water on one side and water free of dissolved solutes on the other, water will move, naturally, toward the side with the most solutes. It is as if the water is trying to make the concentration on both sides of the membrane equal to each other. Reverse osmosis is the process by which water moves in the opposite direction of the osmotic gradient.

  • American Dental Association (.pdf) admits that flouride is harmful to the development of teeth (So, I say, don’t buy fluoridated baby bottled water. Don’t reconstitute baby formula with fluoridated tap water.)
  • Fluoride is used in rat poison to kill them
  • Fluoride is linked to other heavy metal toxins that found in drinking water [such as] lead, arsenic, aluminum and cadmium (Dartmouth News)
  • Tooth decay is prevented through good nutrition and oral hygiene
  • Ninety percent of the fluoride we use to fluoridate U.S. water systems comes directly from the pollution scrubbing systems of the phosphate fertilizer industry. Recently, there has been some concern among clean water activists about the purity of this industrial grade fluoride, known as hydrofluosilicic acid. As investigative journalist George Glasser has pointed out, this hydrofluosilicic acid contains trace amounts of numerous heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and arsenic. (Fluoride Action Network)

Brita filters out particulate matter, not fluoride. This is what you can do now. Learn about what distillation is here. Then get your very own counter top distillation unit or not. (This is a distillation unit, not a reverse osmosis unit, which is also an effective way to remove Fluoride from water)

That was pointless. No data, no links, no nothing. Just a page making claims that it doesn’t back up.
Such as:
“American Dental Association admits that flouride is harmful to the development of teeth (So don’t buy fluoridated baby bottled water!)”
Here’s the link to the American Dental Association page on flouride:
http://www.ada.org/public/topics/fluoride/index.asp<br />
Makes NO mention of it being harmful. As a matter of fact, the Flouridation_facts.pdf says flouride is the single most effective measure to prevent tooth decay.
I’m calling this article SPAM *****. Looks like the goal is to sell osmosis water products. I could be wrong, but there is nothing about that page or it’s links to support these claims.
Buried.
Now I’m irked I wasted my time to actually look up data on a submission I was sure was inaccurate.

Interesting… I’ll have to add that to my ‘must research’ list.

Distilled water is so acidic that drinking too much will cause you to get static electricity. I used to consume distilled water and find myself getting static charge when I touched some metal railings. When I switched to fluoridated water all the static effect disappeared and I am just feeling great.

all of our food and drink is deliberately contaminated to keep the drug companies in business, as they think that we are all just commodities for their exploits, we all would be very shocked if we realised the what lengths the so-called elite take to avoid the food and drink that we ingest everyday, no excito-toxins,halogens or any othe volatile additives for them,
    I rest my case.

whilst trying to access this page I had the Windows internet explorer message cannot open the internet site http//www.toomuchtruth.com/the-truth-about-water/. operation aborted.
proof the the truth does hurt the offender, expect government intervention to try pulling the plug on this site, dont give up the good work many thanx.

The compounds used to fluoride our drinking water are recovered pollution from the phosphate fertilizer industry and are contaminated with hazardous substances including lead, arsenic, and mercury.
If the public understood that their drinking water is being converted to a disposal system for America’s largest corporations, they would refuse.Because the phosphate fertilizer industry is unwilling to dispose of its own waste properly, we are forced to DRINK IT (AND PAY LOTS OF MONEY FOR IT )!
THIS ARRANGEMENT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR MANY YEARS. SOME LAWSUITS ARE IN ORDER, TO REVEAL AND HALT THIS CRIME AGAINST OUR NATION .

I agree - usless! From the reading I’ve done - neither system is really effective. Both remove minerals from our water. Although I agree that drinking tap water is bad, this is not the answer.

It is interesting that you find no basis for this article, I have to say that there are many references attatched to the article, but common sense tells you that fluoride is poison. For instance, look on a tube of toothpaste, and it plainly states that if swallowed to call poison control immediatly, even on children’s toothpaste. Fluoride, although, does strengthen the enamel of your teeth, when applied to the enamel directly, by way of chemical reaction. Evidence shows that it is toxic when ingested. An interesting side fact is that I grew up working on farms and ranches, and when we were to load a semi-truck full of cattle, we would put powdered fluoride into their water in the pens the night before, and when I asked why we were doing this my grandfather told me that it was to keep the cattle sedated, so that they would be easier to control. Food for thought seeing how they have also found traces of prozac, lithium, and valium in our wonderful fluoridated water!

Solution! Call local city utilities department, request the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Standard for Fluorosilicic Acid B703-06. This is the most often used agent as it is liquid form and easier to apply to water systems.
The Foreword gives source and notes: “The transfer of contaminants from chemicals to processed water or the residual solids is becoming a problem of greater concern.” Then, there is an entire page of contaminants ranging from heavy metals arsenic, lead, etc., down to radionuclides as uranium and radium 226-228. Small levels but can be cumulative in people with poor nutrition.

I personally drink distilled water. It has no taste and for me that tastes great! We do not need to get our minerals from water, we need to get minerals from fruits and vegetables. Water for hydration only folks! H2O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
