Drs. Foster and Smith Inc.

These are the most used medications for dogs (and cats) and they do work when used properly.

You have to put the drips between there shoulder blades where they can’t lick easily, but they can scratch very easily.  The medication spreads and collects in the oils of the animals skin and will kill pests for up to a month.  This spreading process is called translocation.

It is rumored that it goes into the bloodstream, but that is untrue.  It does not absorb and shouldn’t bother any other medications.

It does collect in the glands that keep the skin moist and around the hair follicles.  Fleas and ticks that come into contact with the hair will then be affected and die off within 18 hours.
