Funny thing about looking good. Sometimes it’s about looking our best, and sometimes it’s looking like we want to look…darker skin, lighter skin, eyes closer together, eyes farther apart, narrower nose, more prominent cheekbone, fuller lips, stronger chin, longer lashes, tamer brows…Improvements in appearance can be semi-permanent or temporary.
Surgery might seem permanent but it’s not because we are not plastic. We are made up of living cells that have a life time. It is estimated that every 7 year there is not a single living cell in your body that was there 7 years earlier! (Different types of cells have different life-spans, naturally.)
Given that cells are constantly regenerating and dying, things tend to shift a bit and then of course with the continued exposure to an abusive environment and/or an abusive diet things can and do go from “perfect” to “not-quite-so-perfect-anymore.”So instead of spending thousands for cosmetic surgery, why not just learn a few cosmetic tricks to enhance your use of make up for a stunning face. You probably have make up right now at home that you could start educating ourself with.
Obviously make up isn’t permanent but that’s a blessing really because you can enjoy different looks for different occasions and different purposes. Just like a hair style doesn’t have to be permanent, you don’t have to dress in a uniform…you can have fun, be artistic or trendy or not with your “look”.
The great thing is that is not permanent, because wouldn’t it be just too sad to have a face that looked like yesteryear with brows that were permanently just too heavy or too thin for todays beauty trends. Even celebrities aren’t glamorous off the job.
If you want to look your best then clean up what you put in your mouth and what you surround yourself with. Clean food, a clean environment, clean water and daily motion, fresh air and sunshine will go a long way to make your unique beauty some shining through. Make-up is an adjunct, not a substitute. Although sometimes it can really seem to work welcomed miracles, not just enhancing our looks but completely changing our appearance. you saw those cells, on camera and caught off camera. What a difference a make-up job can make! Heck, and it doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg to get “the Look”.
